The city of Hillsboro is wide and diverse. Being in the center of the Silicon Forest brings the city many different types of people, different cultures, and different opinions through its businesses and neighborhoods. There are many big companies in Hillsboro, however, as with most communities, there are even more small, family-owned businesses that are not always known to a lot of the community members. We need to pull together and bring these smaller shops out into the light and promote their existence and help our fellow neighbors and their businesses grow. Diversity makes our community strong, but unity will bring our community together and make it successful.
