Turner Creek Park

This 12.5 acre neighborhood park provides opportunities for active recreation and watching wildlife. Benches and picnic tables along the paved path make good resting spots. The playground, softball field, soccer field and tennis courts offer a wide range of options for active play. The natural area with soft-surface paths is a great place to watch waterfowl and experience nature in the city. The park can be accessed from the east by SE 31st Court. A portable restroom and drinking fountain are available.

Off-street, accessible parking is provided at the main entrance to the park off of SE 31st Court.
There are paved and unpaved paths. A six-foot-wide paved path loops around the sports fields and connects to the playground, tennis courts and natural area. Soft surface paths wind through the wetlands around Turner Creek and lead to WL Henry Elementary School to the south of the park. Pathways vary from gravel to mulch to mud, with boardwalks, stairs, and slopes.
There are several picnic tables that can be accessed from the path and are surrounded by grass.
The playground has an accessible play structure and a swing set. The surface of the playground has wood chips and is level with the adjacent path. A second set of swings in nearby, but not connected to the path.
A large, fully accessible temporary Port-a-potty is available next to the softball field and the parking lot
The large field offers open space for soccer and other active sports.
The softball field can be accessed from the main path next to the parking lot on the northwest side of the park. Benches on grass are provided for the players.
Two tennis courts can be accessed from the main path and are north of the parking lot.
