Evergreen Park
2615 NW 194th Terrace, Hillsboro, OR 97124
This 12.5-acre community park provides recreation opportunities for nearby residents. Paved paths in the developed portions of the park and soft-surface trails through natural areas provide a varied experience. Benches and tables can be found throughout the park. The playground, basketball court and large lawn provide a range of options for active play. The park can be accessed on the west and east sides as well as by numerous connecting paths to the surrounding neighborhood developments. Restrooms are not available. A drinking fountain is available near the basketball court.
A full basketball court can be accessed from the main path in the center of the park.
There are many benches throughout the park along the paths and at the major facilities.
The large open lawn offers lots of space for activities and sports.
Two small wooded areas on the north and south ends of the park offer a quiet getaway. The fairly flat, soft-surface trails lead through native shrubs under towering Douglas fir trees.
Off-street, accessible parking is provided at the main entrance off of Overlook Drive. On-street parking is available at entrances along NW 194th Terrace and along Venetian Drive.
There are paved and unpaved paths. A six-foot-wide paved path loops around the park and connects through the adjacent neighborhood to the entrance on 194th Terrace and to several other neighborhood connections. Soft surface paths off of the main path leading through two small wooded areas.
There are several picnic tables found throughout the park on paved surfaces at the plaza and near the playground.
The playground has an accessible play structure. The surface of the playground has wood chips and can be accessed from the path by a ramp.
The formal plaza with a small central lawn, paved surfaces, benches and tables can be found at the east entrance to the park off of NW 194th Terrace.
